The National Association of Federal Credit Unions held its 41st Annual Conference & Exhibition July 8 - 12, 2008. Industry leaders met in San Diego to collaborate and learn how to chart a course for success for their credit unions. Your credit union's President/CEO, Tom Glatt, was named by his peers as "CEO of the Year" during the 2008 Awards Ceremony. Tom thanked loyal credit union members, a supportive volunteer board of directors, and a dedicated staff and management team for allowing him to successfully lead the credit union. In addition to receiving this award, Tom Glatt led education sessions to share his expertise with colleagues. Earlier this year, the Credit Union Times and Credit Union Journal also recognized Tom's industry contributions. Tom embraces the credit union philosophy of people helping people and his leadership continues to inspire the credit union industry to fulfill its mission to serve members while leading by example.
